Being in quarantine has been really interesting for me habit-wise. And by interesting I mean, annoying because I can’t hide from the ones I don’t like anymore. In NYC, pre-COVID, I was so go-go-go that little slip ups in behavior that repeated themselves were easy to sweep under the oriental rug. But now that I am so much less busy, it’s impossible to ignore them.
That's why I picked up Atomic Habits. I was eager to improve myself but couldn’t seem to make a change. Each day, I would set lofty goals and by the time dinner rolled around, none of them would be accomplished! It was frustrating AF, but this book shifted my perspective and gave me a toolbox of strategies that actually brought results :)
Anyways, I know you will love it. Try reading just one chapter a day- BTW. That way it can really sink in and also you start to form a reading habit which is obviously bae. Xoxo. And remember- “habits are the compound interest of self-improvement” hehe.
